News of the beard exhibit at Somerset House spread like wildfire on social media earlier this year. It’s unsurprising really seeing as the project that kicked it off, #Project60, had an immense following on Instagram.
It all started when an Australian photographer named Mr Elbank photographed a charity campaigner called Jimmy Niggles.
Niggles started growing his beard following the death of a close friend to skin cancer. He set up the charity Beard Season to increase awareness of the easily preventable disease and promote the positive health benefits of a full beard.
But is the exhibition any good or is it just a gallery jumping on the beard bandwagon?
